We were actually booked into its sister hotel, King's Hotel Center but was transfered here due to mainteance at the original hotel which is nearby. Location to this hotel is actuall an easy 10min walk from the Central train station. We actually found a S-Bahn entrance which is just 5min walk from the hotel. It therefore makes it easy to travel to major attractions in Munich. The old town is also an easy 15min walk away. We chose this hotel for its location conveniences. The room we were given was of ample size for our family of three. Its quaint decor gives the room a cozy feeling. Our room was facing the room and we can hear the sound of trams and cars late into the night. Fortunately it did not affect our sleep. I think this hotel is of good value and is well-located especially if you like to be close to a train station.

I stayed for a few nights with my partner and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast always plentiful and tasty. The room we stayed in wasn't too big, but still it was comfortable and very clean. We especially loved that when you skipped a day on cleaning, you received a voucher for the bar or breakfast. If we ever return to München we are definitely staying at the Kings Hotel again.

Handy hotel quite well located close to the centre and very close to the train station as well. Rooms are of an okay size, sufficient amenities but a bit limited on light. front facing rooms have the tram, which runs late and starts early, and is not the quietest means of transport! Breakfast is fine

We stayed in Advance stay kings in 2017 and were so happy with it we decided to book kings first class this year for our Christmas Markets trip. We booked a suite months in advance and were very much looking forward to it. However, less than 24 hours before we were due to check in we received a message to stay our accommodation had been changed to Adva stay as First class had decided to close a day early. The email was presumptuous that this was fine as it was an alternative and it was cheaper. After a phone call to the hotel, it was decided that we stay in our original room for one night and then move to Advastay. We arrived to the hotel yesterday and were very happy with the hotel, suite was amazing and all staff helpful and kind. We have just moved across to Advastay and checked in. And I can purchase the room we are in for the amount we have paid on booking.com. Therefore after causing massive stress and inconvenience, we did not even receive discount on the room. This stay was never about cost to me, but now staying in a lesser hotel than I chose and the huge stress of my accommodation being changed hours before I fly to a different country. I feel all nights of our stay should have been discounted. Not just the first nights. We had based our entire itinerary around having a luxurious suite as a base to relax which we do not have. I am extremely disappointed. I was even told yesterday on the phone that the room was discounted which it is clearly not. Our experience of the actual time we spent in Kings First class was fantastic but I feel at this moment due to the cancelling so close to the stay and lies about discounting the Advastay room, I could not book here again.

Hotel is in a great location very close to the main station. The room was very small but quiet and clean enough (there was a bit of pink mould in the shower). Unfortunately the room is unbearably hot at night despite us turning the heating right down to 17 degrees. The bed is comfortable to lie on but I don't know what the mattress is made of, or covered with, but it got really hot almost like sleeping on an electric blanket. Even with the covers off, it was just way too hot. The hotel bar, when open, is cheap but you get what you pay for. It was closed the night we arrived, and on the second night I was given an Espresso Martini with Bailey's - who does that? Stick with beer and it's fine. Numerous typos and spelling errors on the menu are a bit off-putting.
